The Impact You'll Have:

​

As a Founding engineer, you'll work on the fundamental infrastructure components and help build upon the core systems, such as our mobile restaurant platform, cloud services, system architecture, and product design. 
 

A Typical Day: 

​

• Build cutting edge cloud native infrastructure on top of the public cloud.

• Deliver frameworks and platforms that are secure, efficient, mature and highly available that abstract away infrastructure complexity.

• Optimize existing systems/services to improve performance and efficiency.

• Systematically improve availability by applying industry and distributed systems best practices.

• Work with other talented engineers to build the foundational systems.

Your Expertise:

​

• 4+ years of coding in various languages front- and back-end (Python, JS, Swift, React Native etc.)

• Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their infrastructure as a service offering (e.g. EC2).

• Expertise in database & information architecture

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in teams.

• Writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end

• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issue

Location: Hybrid opportunity / ability to travel to our office in Metro Detroit.
